Lands’ End is giving shoppers in the Empire State a new location to do their back-to-school shopping.
The specialty apparel retailer is opening a new store at the Staten Island Mall, New York, on Aug. 18. The new store gives the retailer to a total of 14 standalone locations in the United States.
This is the third of four to six stores that Lands’ End plans to open in 2018, and follows the opening of a 5,000-sq.-ft. store at Burlington Mall, Burlington, Massachusetts, in May.
The Staten Island store features digital technologies, including digital checkout that enables customers to complete their order anywhere in the store. It also features a digital kiosk that gives customers the ability to shop the entire assortment online. The assortment also includes additional sizes and merchandise from the recently launched Universal Collection, an inclusive line of adaptive, sensory-friendly clothing.
The store is also one of several “try on” locations for school uniforms. Lands’ End offers free shipping and free returns for all orders placed from the store.
The store design features Lands’ End signature colors, true navy and white. Visual displays feature Lands’ End’s seasonal, iconic items and tell the product’s history and features.
“We're excited to offer products for the entire family to Staten Island shoppers, many of whom have been loyal customers for decades," said Claudia Mazo, senior VP of retail, Lands' End. "The new store is a place where everyone can experience in person our fit, quality and products with a purpose, just in time for back-to-school shopping.”
