Polaroid Fotobar to open Las Vegas flagship
New York -- Polaroid Fotobar will open an 8,500-sq.-ft. flagship at The LINQ, a new retail, dining and entertainment district in Las Vegas by Caesars Entertainment.
The retail format made its debut in 2013, with three stores in Florida ( Delray Beach, Orlando and Miami). Upcoming plans include another location in Florida, in Boca Raton.
Polaroid Fotobar’s Las Vegas flagship, opening in March, will include a 4,500-sq.-ft. museum that will showcase how the company’s founder, Edwin Land, impacted the modern imaging industry, and will feature a collection of rare artifacts, art and advertising. The museum’s main attraction will be the Andy Warhol “Capturing Celebrity” exhibition, which will feature a collection of 50 of Warhol’s most famous Polaroid photographs, as well as two of Warhol’s personal Polaroid cameras.
Polaroid Fotobar also is launching a Mobile Print Shop, a mobile unit that is equipped to provide on-site printing solutions at events of all kinds.
