Store of the Week: Murad, Los Angeles, Calif.

El Segundo,Calif. -- Skincare brand Murad has opened its first stand-alone retail store, on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles.



In addition to offering the full range of Murad’s skin condition-specific, high-performance products, the 1,500-sq.-ft. store offers innovative express services and activities designed to provide customers with a highly personalized, engaging and informative experience at every touch point.







“My hope is that our store will serve as a place where our customers can bridge the gap between beauty and health by giving them the tools and inspiration they need to make every day choices that support their overall skin health,” said founder said founder Howard Murad, M.D., FAAD.



The store offers several unique features, including “YouthCam Evaluations” which involve using a high-definition camera that features proprietary software to measure fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and inflammation. Additionally, customers are encouraged to create their own digital works of art on the store’s “interactive art wall” and share their designs on social media.
