Furniture retailer to expand store footprint in California
Mathis Brothers Furniture is adding another location in the Golden State.
Irvine Company Retail Properties announced that Mathis Brothers Furniture, one of the nation’s largest independent furniture retailers, will open a 160,000-sq.-ft. store at The Market Place, an outdoor lifestyle center located in the Southern California town of Tustin. Set to open in spring 2020, Mathis Brothers will be designed as a one-store shop for all home furnishings needs. It will offer more than 10,000 items across all price points.
The merchandise assortment will include furniture for the living room, dining room and bedroom, mattresses, decor and more from top brand names, and design services. The massive showroom will also feature an 8,000-sq.-ft. atrium with a large outdoor furniture selection along with a full bar where shoppers can pause to enjoy a complimentary refreshment and relax in the fresh air.
