Made-to-measure menswear retailer Indochino continues to expand its U.S. store fleet.

The Vancouver-based company, a recipient of Chain Store Age’s 2018 Breakout Retailers Awards, has opened a 3,200-sq.-ft. store at Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. It’s the brand’s 43rd location to date (with 32 stores in the U.S., and 11 in Canada). Indochino is planning to open up to 20 locations in North America in 2019, including a soon-to-open store in Greenwich, Conn.

Indochino’s retail spaces offer an immersive experience. Customers are designated their own personal stylist or “style guide” who assists them in designing their suit or shirt and helps them choose from millions of possible combinations of fabrics and personalization options.

Garments are then made to the customers’ precise measurements and shipped directly to their door within two weeks. Customer profiles are stored online for easy repeat shopping, online and offline. Prices for custom suits and overcoats start at $399, with chinos and shirts from $79.

“Country Club Plaza is the Midwest’s top shopping and dining destination and we are thankful for the warm welcome we’ve already received in this community,” said Drew Green, president and CEO of Indochino.
