Fast-growing kids’ fashion brand opens first store

8/23/2018
A children’s clothing brand inspired by global travel has opened its first retail location.

Tea Collection has opened its first physical store, at Santana Row, in San Jose, Calif. Previously, the brand’s goods were available only online and at select retailers, including Nordstrom. The new store will serve as a living classroom to play with new ideas and products, and a chance for the brand to engage one-on-one with families, the company said.

“Having our own space provides us an opportunity to meet new friends and online customers who don't have a nearby Tea retailer," says Emily Meyer, co-founder and chief creative officer of Tea Collection. "We have been so impressed with Santana Row and how they have created a destination and community that draws people in to spend time."

Based in San Francisco, Tea Collection makes children's apparel and accessories for ages 0-16 inspired by global travel. All of its clothing is designed in house, and the company follows ethical sourcing practices in its overseas factories.
