Barneys New York is putting an upscale spin on cannabis.
The specialty retailer announced it will open a “luxury cannabis lifestyle and wellness concept” called “The High End” in its Beverly Hills flagship in March. The retailer, which plans to expand The High End to additional locations in the near future, noted that it is the first major retailer to open such a space.
"Barneys New York has always been at the forefront of shifts in culture and lifestyle, and cannabis is no exception," said Daniella Vitale, CEO and president, Barneys New York. "Many of our customers have made cannabis a part of their lifestyle, and The High End caters to their needs with extraordinary products and service they experience in every facet of Barneys New York."
The High End will feature wellness products across home, beauty, jewelry and more. Cannabis products will also be available through a partnership with cannabis purveyor Beboe, known for its high-design packaging and celebrity fans.
The offerings will include rare and exclusive items, ranging from gold rolling papers from Shine to custom-made blown glass pipes from Caleb Siemmon.
Additionally, the High End will feature a curated selection of vintage accessories including lighters, trays, cases and more, along with CBD-infused beauty and scented products from a variety of brands.
In partnership with Beboe co-founder Scott Campbell, the collaboration also includes an exclusive special edition silver Beboe vaporizer pen. Beboe has also partnered with premium cannabis lifestyle brand Sherbinskis to develop a new strain of cannabis.
Customers who visit The High End can speak to Beboe representatives to learn more about its products, and purchase from Beboe through the white glove delivery service, Emjay.
Barneys New York operates flagship stores uptown on Madison Avenue and downtown in Chelsea in New York City, as well as additional flagships in Beverly Hills, Chicago, Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
