Baby superstore continues to expand
A specialty chain owned by Bed Bath & Beyond is growing its footprint in Canada.
buybuy Baby has opened its seventh Canadian location, in West Edmonton, Alberta. The 23,000-sq.-ft. baby superstore features an expansive selection of merchandise for newborns to toddlers, including furniture, strollers, and clothing, as well as a nursery design center. It also offers a baby gift registry service both in-store and online, with exclusive perks and savings benefits when setting up a registry. Stores are designed with such conveniences as a private feeding and changing room.
The retailer has additional store openings planned in Canada, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, North Calgary, Alberta and Western Ontario.
