Sprouts touches down in New York with Long Island store
Sprouts Farmers Market has made its debut in the Empire State.
The natural and organic grocer opened its first location in the state of New York on Jan. 30, with a store in Centereach on Long Island. Sprouts' debut in New York is just one of several new openings planned for the year’s first quarter.
On Jan. 23, Sprouts opened new stores in Haymarket, Va., and New Braunfels, Texas (a suburb of San Antonio). In the coming months, Sprouts is set to open a new store in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Feb. 27, along with a new store in Bastrop, Texas, on March 6.
Highlights of Sprouts new store include a wide selection of organic produce, sustainability-sourced meat and seafood, a deli which offers guests fresh sandwiches and wellness bowls, an assortment of more than 7,000 vitamins, supplements and wellness products, and more.
“The arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market is a great win for Centereach,” said Centereach councilman Neil Manzella. “Our community has been in need of a supermarket, and Sprouts not only meets that need but does so with a strong focus on quality and community involvement. It’s clear they have great people behind this project, and I’m excited to see the positive impact they’ll have and the success they’ll achieve here.”

Headquartered in Phoenix, Sprouts employs approximately 35,000 team members and operates more than 450 stores in 24 states nationwide.
