Speedy Stop taps NCR Voyix for digital upgrades
Texas convenience chain Speedy Stop is modernizing its in-store technology.
The retailer has tapped digital commerce solutions provider NCR Voyix to upgrade its in-store technology infrastructure. Speedy Stop has deployed a suite of NCR Voyix software solutions including NVR Voyix Edge, RPOS POS software, Kitchen Product and Management System (KPS & CSS), analytics, and NCR Voyix’s next-generation self-checkout technology.
Speedy Stop virtualized its existing Verifone POS and site controller hardware by decoupling the software from the hardware, extending to the POS, site controller, and all peripherals. Leveraging the software’s capabilities to integrate with the existing hardware stack. Speedy Stop will now run the latest NCR Voyix POS software on its incumbent Verifone hardware.

By using software to virtualize its systems, Speedy Stop avoids needing to buy new POS and peripheral hardware. In addition, by running the NCR Voyix Intelligent Control Plane in the cloud, the retailer can spot and fix issues remotely.
And as the platform is flexible and adaptable, Speedy Stop can easily add new applications and features and open new stores more easily and quickly.
