Visitors to Myrtle Beach will soon be turning somersaults over what’s going on at the tourist town’s most popular mall.

A 53,000-sq.-ft. Flip N Fly trampoline park will be part of a redevelopment of Coastal Grand, a million-sq.-ft. mall that is the second-largest in South Carolina next to Simon’s Haywood Mall in Greenville. Dick’s Sporting Goods will add a Golf Galaxy and relocate to a new building near the Dillard’s anchor store.

“We are successfully executing our redevelopment strategy of adding new, in-demand retail and other uses to enhance the customer experience, including over 850,000 square feet of new-to-market entertainment offerings across over a dozen properties,” said CBL CEO Stephen Lebovitz.

The Coastal Grand location will be the second Flip N Fly in the CBL portfolio. The first is located at Mayfaire in Wilmington, North Carolina. Other tenants include Sears, Belk, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, and a Cimemark Theater.

Construction on the new Dick’s Sporting Goods/Golf Galaxy store will begin in early 2020.
