Few brand new shopping destinations are debuting as the pandemic lingers, but a big grand opening is happening this week on the continent where COVID-19 started.

Simon Premium Outlets and Siam Piwat this week unveiled their contemporarily designed Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, bringing Thailand’s capital discount prices on goods from Balenciaga, Montblanc, Bally, Breitling, Salvatore Ferragamo, Furla, Hugo Boss, Coach, kate spade, CK Calvin Klein, and more.

Adidas and Nike each opened standalone stores exceeding 13,000 sq. ft. stores at the center, a 15-minute drive from the Suvarnabhumi Airport that serves more than 60 million travelers a year. Bangkok and its metro area population of more than 14 million is 45 minutes away.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of our newest Premium Outlet center serving the vibrant Bangkok region as part of our continued international growth strategy," said Mark Silvestri, COO of development at Simon.

Siam Priwat owns and operates prestige retail developments in Thailand such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery.
