Simon names new treasurer

Donald G. Frey has been made an executive VP at Simon and named treasurer of the nation’s premier mall operator.

Frey, who had been senior VP and assistant treasurer, practiced law for eight years at Alston & Bird LLP and Dechert LLP before joining the Indianapolis-based company 12 years ago.

Picking up Frey’s former duties will be Matt Jackson, who had served as the company’s VP of treasury and capital markets. Before joining Simon four years ago, Jackson spent nearly a decade at Procter & Gamble in several finance and operations positions.
