RH names longtime exec as chief experience, values officer
A luxury furniture and design services retailer has promoted a company veteran to a new C-suite role.
RH has named Sandy Pilon as its new chief customer experience & values officer. In the role, she will lead the company’s gallery, hospitality, interior design, trade, contract, delight, people and optimization teams across the company’s global presence.
Pilon has spent the past 18 years at RH, having held key leadership positions across the organization, including field leader of its Northern and Southern California galleries, senior VP of delight and customer service operations, and most recently chief people officer, which she has served as since 2021.

“Over the past 18 years Sandy has been an important partner and leader of RH’s transformation into the leading luxury home brand in the world,” said Gary Friedman, RH chairman and CEO. “Her exceptional leadership and passionate advocacy of our Values and Beliefs give me great confidence in Sandy’s ability to build and lead a team capable of building one of the most admired brands in the world.”
Pilon’s promotion is the third C-suite move RH has made so far this year. In late March, RH announced that David Stanchak had returned to the company as chief real estate and transformation officer, a position he held from 2015-2021. The company also named Veronica Schnitzius as president and chief manufacturing & sourcing officer.
“Having spent the last 18 years growing alongside this extraordinary organization, it is an incredible honor to step into this role,” said Pilon. “I believe the greatest luxury we can offer is an exceptional experience – one that reflects our values in every interaction, inspires our people to do their life's best work, and creates lasting relationships with teams and customers around the world. I couldn't be more excited for what we will build.”
Headquartered in Corte Madera, Calif., RH operates galleries and outlet stores across the United States, Canada and Europe. The brand’s collection of products includes luxury furniture, lighting, outdoor and garden products, textiles and more.
