Wilder names Cosentino as its first acquisitions director
Looking to expand its diverse portfolio of retail real estate on the East Coast, The Wilder Companies has hired Brian Cosentino to serve as its VP of acquisitions.
Cosentino, who joins the Boston-based company from the transactions team at UBS Realty Investors in Hartford, will set his sights on existing centers that ca be reinvigorated through redevelopment and the introduction of uses such as entertainment, residential, office, and hospitality.
“We will look to Brian to navigate the acquisition of core-plus and value-add retail focused assets with repositioning or redevelopment opportunities,” said company principal Tom Wilder in a statement.
Cosentino’s career also included stints at Boston office of CBRE Global Investors and the Connecticut office of Hart Realty Advisers.
Wilder has developed and managed 20 million sq. ft. of retail ranging from super-regional malls to mixed-use developments over a span of 40 years.
