Wilder Cos. awarded Garden City contract

Boston The Wilder Cos. said Monday that it has been awarded the leasing and management contract for Garden City Center, an upscale lifestyle center in Cranston, R.I.

The contract was awarded by TA Associates Realty of Boston.

Garden City Center is centrally located to serve a statewide trade area, including Providence and Warwick. At 480,000 sq. ft., the center features 55 shops, services and eateries including Talbots, Chico’s, Coldwater Creek, Cohoes, Williams-Sonoma, Borders and Whole Foods.

Local merchants include designer clothier MEL & Me, shoe store F. Bianco, Mediterranean bistro Cafe Luna and Newport Creamery.

Boston-based Wilder Cos. specializes in leasing, management and development of retail properties throughout New England and Florida. Its current portfolio consists of 45 properties.
