Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market to Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Thousand Oaks, Calif. — A 36,000-sq.-ft. Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market has opened at Thousand Oaks Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, Calif.



Other Marketplace retailers include Chase Bank, Walgreens and Hampton Inn, with Subway and Great Clips slated to open soon. The center serves a daytime population of 75,498.



Wal-Mart has designed its Neighborhood Market as a smaller footprint store grocery store with a pharmacy and health and beauty products. More than 300 Wal-Mart Neighborhood Markets are operating in the United States. Twenty-four are located in California.



Thousand Oaks Marketplace is part of a portfolio of more than 75 shopping centers owned or managed by NewMark Merrill Companies.
