Village at Gulfstream Park names marketing director, assistant GM

Hallandale Beach, Fla. Forest City Commercial Development, developer of The Village at Gulfstream Park, announced Friday that Jeannie Roberts has been selected as director of marketing and Brendan Fisher has been named assistant general manager at the new center opening Feb. 11.

The Village at Gulfstream Park is a 410,000-sq.-ft., Main Street-style, outdoor entertainment and shopping center anchored by Florida's premier thoroughbred racetrack, Gulfstream Park.

The Village at Gulfstream Park will feature approximately 70 stores and 410,000 sq. ft. of retail space. The property will combine upscale fashion and home-accessory shops with signature restaurants, outdoor cafes, entertainment, 90,000 sq. ft. of class A office space and future residential spaces.

Tenants include restaurants such as III Forks, Texas de Brazil and Ola Cuba by Chef Douglas Rodriquez; fashion stores including Fender Rock & Roll Religion, Lilly McKay and Martier, as well as home-decor and accessory shops Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma.

Developers are Forest City and Magna Entertainment Corp.
