Under Armour’s Chicago store is brand’s largest to date
Baltimore -- Under Armour has opened its largest store to date, on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. With nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of retail space, the store is designed to provide an immersive and interactive brand experience. It features the latest in video and digital technology, and also includes a section dedicated to wearable fitness devices. And for a local feel, a large wall is covered in ivy, inspired by the Wrigley Field ivy.
Billed as the Under Armour Brand House, the two-level store feature the company’s latest products across all its various categories, including outdoor, team sports, training, running, golf, studio, youth and footwear. It is the first Under Armour location to showcase Under Armour’s hunting and fishing offering, with specialized UA Hunt and UA Fish shops.
“Opening a Brand House on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile allows us to establish Under Armour’s presence in one of the most vibrant and iconic shopping destinations around the globe,” Susie McCabe, senior VP of global retail, Under Armour. “The Under Armour Chicago Brand House will be our largest retail location in the world, highlighting our commitment to innovation, while providing consumers with an elevated experience when shopping for apparel and footwear, as well as digital devices and wearables.”
