Under Armour Helps Anchor $150M Mall Expansion
Annapolis, Md., Westfield Annapolis unveiled Thursday its 60-store, 240,000-sq.-ft. expansion, a shopping mall makeover that includes performance apparel Under Armour Inc.'s first full-line retail shop, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
The $150 million expansion includes a Pottery Barn, H&M, Martin + Osa, Metropark and Ann Taylor Loft.
More than 1,000 new parking spaces were also added to the mall, which now eclipses 1.5 million sq. ft. The expansion will make Westfield Annapolis one of the largest shopping centers in the Baltimore region by square footage, along with the Mall in Columbia and Arundel Mills.
The store's entryway resembles a stadium tunnel, and a 120-in. high-definition projection screen meets shoppers.
