Ulta to open at Hamilton Place

Chattanooga, Tenn. CBL & Associates Properties said Friday that Ulta will open spring 2010 at The Terrace in Chattanooga, Tenn., a 156,000-sq.-ft. associated center located within the Hamilton Place shopping complex.

According to CBL, the Ulta store will be the first retailer of its kind in Chattanooga and will locate next to the new DSW Shoes store at The Terrace.

Construction on the new 10,000-sq.-ft. cosmetics store will begin soon.

The Hamilton Place shopping complex features the 1.1 million sq.-ft. regional mall, Hamilton Place, several associated community and power centers, and an abundance of restaurants.

Recent additions to the Hamilton Place shopping complex include DSW, Southern Lighting, Barnes & Noble, Red Robin and Aldo. Tommy Hilfiger, Charming Charlie accessory and jewelry store and Mac Authority will open in Hamilton Place mall this winter. Additionally, Earth Fare gourmet grocer is currently under construction at Gunbarrel Pointe with a grand opening scheduled for January 2010.

Hamilton Corner, a lifestyle center located immediately adjacent to the mall, features upscale retailers and restaurants including Loft, Coldwater Creek, Chico’s, Foil Salon, Bonefish Grill, Jason’s Deli and Learning Express coming soon. The 202-acre site attracts approximately 16 million people and produces more than $300 million annually in retail sales.
