Ulta and more to open at Merchant’s Walk

Atlanta -- Columbia, S.C.-based Edens & Avant announced that Ulta, along with additional retailers and restaurants, will open at its Merchant’s Walk open-air center in the East Cobb area of Atlanta.



“The evolving mix of local, regional and national retailers is part of the merchandising strategy we put into place at the outset of Merchant’s Walk redevelopment,” said Lyle Darnall, managing director for Edens & Avant. “We feel that the continued evolution of this mix will help foster a true sense of place for the East Cobb community and we look forward to adding to this list in the very near future.”



Along with the multi-million dollar renovation to the retail center, the expansion of the Merchant’s Walk Stadium Cinemas and the previously announced mix of national and local retailers such as Whole Foods (opening summer 2011), Pinkberry and Chipotle, Merchant’s Walk will soon be home to Ulta, which is opening a 10,000-sq.-ft. store in the summer. Also opening are Mirko Pasta (this spring), Gigi’s Cupcakes (opened in January), and the Eye Gallery Distinctive Eyewear (March 1).
