Trademark’s WestBend project moving forward

5/6/2010

Fort Worth, Texas Trademark Property Co. said Thursday it has resumed development on its WestBend property in Fort Worth, Texas.

The company announced two tenants for a new 5,159-sq.-ft. building, which broke ground on April 29. Birmingham, Ala.-based Zoe’s Kitchen (3,029 sq. ft.), which currently operates in 11 states, and Denver-based Smashburger (2,130 sq. ft.), which currently operates in 17 states, will both be making their Fort Worth debuts and are scheduled to open this fall.

“We are pleased to be moving ahead with our WestBend development,” said Trademark Property chairman and CEO Terry Montesi. “We had placed the development on hold, waiting for the market to improve. We will further evaluate how things are looking before moving forward with additional construction.”
