Three new restaurants to open at Voorhees Town Center

8/2/2010

Voorhees, N.J. Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) said that Firecreek Restaurant + Bar, Doghouse Gourmet Burgers, and Coffee Works Cafe will open locations at Voorhees Town Center, in Voorhees, N.J. It will be a second location for each.

The addition of the three restaurants is part of the center’s $150 million mixed-use redevelopment, a joint effort by PREIT and Dewey Commercial Investors.

Coffee Works Cafe will open in the fall, augmenting its existing location at the Ritz Center in Voorhees. First-to-market Firecreek Restaurant + Bar (5,857 sq. ft.) and Doghouse Gourmet Burgers (2,903 sq. ft.) will join Voorhees Town Center’s Town Center Boulevard in April 2011.

The redevelopment of Voorhees Town Center is a four-pronged project that consists of The Mall, The Boulevard, The Offices and The Residences.

The Mall, a renovated and right-sized two-level enclosed shopping center, is anchored by Macy’s and Boscov’s and features a Food Court and approximately 90 retailers, while Main Street retail is beginning to line the Boulevard, including Rizzieri Master Salon, Rizzieri Aveda School for Beauty & Wellness and Intoxx Fitness. The Residences, the new Abitare Apartment Homes & Residences, held its grand opening in May, and The Offices are home to The Star Group, South Jersey’s largest advertising agency.
