Target opens at Hammond Square

Hammond, La. Developer Stirling Properties said Friday that Target has opened a 127,380-sq.-ft. store at Hammond Square in Hammond, La. The new location is the retailer’s first in Tangipahoa Parish.

The new Target is one of 17 new stores opening across the country that will feature a P-Fresh prototype concept with expanded food offerings and all of the merchandise found in the general merchandise stores. This new format has an open-market layout and features new food additions including basic fresh produce, fresh meat and bakery goods.

Additionally, the Hammond location will offer a pharmacy and Starbucks coffee shop.
