Target to open five stores in greater Philadelphia region

Philadelphia Metro Commercial said Thursday it has negotiated five new Target store locations in Pennsylvania totaling more than 650,000 sq. ft.

All five of the newly constructed stores, located in in Cheltenham, Pottstown, Exeter, Easton and Allentown, were slated to open July 26.

According to Target, each store will create about 165 jobs and feature open-market layouts with expanded food offerings. Each store will also feature a Starbucks and Target Pharmacy.
