Target announces 23 store openings

Minneapolis Target Corp. said Tuesday it is opening 23 new stores, with the entire group celebrating grand openings on July 26.

Of the new stores, four are general merchandise, 17 are general merchandise with expanded food offerings and 2 are SuperTarget stores with full grocery.

Ranging in locations from Kona, Hawaii, to Bronx Terminal, N.Y., and Hammond, La., the added stores will employ a total of about 4,000 people.
