Stanbery to open two malls

Las Vegas Columbus, Ohio-based retail real estate development company Stanbery Development said Monday at ICSC’s RECon 2009 that it is preparing for the opening of The Shoppes at Hamilton, in Hamilton, N.J., on May 30, and The Shoppes at Cross Keys, in Gloucester Township, N.J., on Aug. 1.

The Shoppes at Hamilton mall is a 155,000-sq.-ft. shopping center that features retail stores such as Ann Taylor Loft; Banana Republic; Chico’s; Children’s Place; Clarks; Coldwater Creek; Color Me Mine; Gymboree; Jos. A. Bank; Justice – Just For Girls; Lane Bryant; New York & Co.; Rack Room Shoes; Sleep Number; Spa San Marco; Starbucks; Stride Rite; and White House/Black Market. The mall is positioned to serve a population of more than 144,000 people.

The Shoppes at Cross Keys will have more than 121,000 sq. ft. of retail space, and expects to serve more than 310,000 people. The mall’s tenants will include Ann Taylor Loft; Banana Republic; Chico’s; Coldwater Creek; Jos. A. Bank; Justice – Just for Girls; Lane Bryant; New York & Co.; Rack Room Shoes; Sleep Number; Spa San Marco; T-Mobile; White House/Black Market; and Yankee Candle.

These shopping centers are the developer’s fifth and sixth projects in New Jersey, respectively.
