Sprouts to anchor Westlake Village Plaza and Center

Westlake Village, Calif. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said Tuesday that Sprouts Farmers Market has leased retail space in Westlake Village, Calif., at Westlake Village Plaza and Center.

Sprouts leased 31,152 sq. ft. and is slated to open in spring 2011. The Westlake Village location will be the grocer’s second location in the Thousand Oaks trade area and the third store in the Regency portfolio.

Sprouts will be occupying a former CVS/pharmacy location, which was duplicated at the center when CVS/pharmacy acquired Longs Drug Stores.

The 190,528-sq.-ft. Westlake Village Plaza and Center is 92% leased and anchored by Vons alongside CVS/pharmacy, Bank of America, Jamba Juice and Starbucks.
