SPECS/2016 keynoters include NBA legend Pat Riley

11/5/2015

Pat Riley, the three-time NBA Coach of the Year honoree, will tip off Chain Store Age’s 52nd annual SPECS conference with a not-to-be-missed keynote address on Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. And on Tuesday, keynoters — and political pundits — Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala will break down the 2016 presidential race.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest NBA coaches of all time, Riley understands the psychology of teamwork and personal excellence – and is a master at creating organizations whose achievements are greater than the sum of their parts. The successful sports executive will leverage his legendary coaching tenure and his current position as president of the Miami Heat to demonstrate how to make the most of every opportunity, to draw on natural leadership abilities, and to show how one person can make a difference for an entire organization.

On Tuesday, March 15, Carlson, the anchor of Fox and Friends Weekend and editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller, and Begala, a commentator at CNN and former counselor to President Bill Clinton, will share their insights into American politics – and the economic landscape – in a no-holds-barred approach reminiscent of when the pair co-hosted CNN’s "Crossfire" political television show.

SPECS (Store Planning, Equipment, Construction and Facilities Services) is attended by retail and food service corporate executives involved in the planning, design, construction, maintenance and transformation of stores and restaurants nationwide.
