Smoothie King adds 32 locations to reach 600th store

New Orleans Smoothie King Franchises announced it has opened 32 locations in the first four months of 2009, bringing the fruit-based smoothie company to more than 600 locations worldwide.

“There is a worldwide demand for healthy, fast and functional food, as well as nutritional supplements, that is fueling our growth,” said Steve Kuhnau, Smoothie King’s co-founder and CEO. “We provide products that contribute to the health regimen of our guests, something more important than ever in these stressful times.”
