Smack Sportswear opens first flagship
Torrance, Calif. -- Smack Sportswear, manufacturer of indoor and beach volleyball apparel, announced that its first flagship officially opened its doors on Feb. 23.
The store, in Huntington Beach, Calif., sits inside of the former Huntington Beach Training Center, which has since been renamed the "Smack Center." It houses eight indoor volleyball courts and three Futsal (indoor football) courts. Smack's flagship store offers curb appeal to the thousands of coaches, teams, and visitors to the facility.
"Store sales in our first year of operations are expected to add around $200,000 to $300,000 to our top-line growth in 2013. But higher revenue growth is expected as we form relationships with our core target market —the coaches and owners who require uniforms and equipment for hundreds of players," said Bill Sigler, CEO of Smack.
The Smack store sells a wide range of Smack indoor, beach, and casual apparel, as well as equipment, footwear, and gear from major brands like Nike, Asics, and others. It also features an interactive "Online Design Center" that lets Smack customers design their own custom uniforms and place online orders.
