Simon breaks ground on Tucson Premium Outlets

Marana, Ariz.--Simon broke ground Thursday on Tucson Premium Outlets in Marana, Arizona. The multi-million dollar project will feature more than 90 retailers, and is slated to open fall 2015.



Tucson Premium Outlets, at 366,000 sq. ft., will anchor Marana Center, a 170-acre mixed-use commercial center located on the south side of Twin Peaks Road between I-10 and Linda Vista Boulevard. Marana Center is being developed by Vintage Partners.



"We expect Tucson Premium Outlets to make a significant economic impact with the creation of 300 to 500 construction jobs and more than 800 full-time and part-time retail jobs upon opening," said Mark Silvestri, COO, Simon Premium Outlets.
