Shake Shack opens second Ohio location

Ohio’s most popular retail destination is gaining a cult favorite.

This summer, Shake Shack will open its second Ohio location at Easton Town Center in Columbus. The 3,523-sq.-ft. burger joint will feature an outdoor patio and seating for more than 100 guests.

Like all Shake Shack locations, the Easton Town Center eatery will be built with recycled and sustainable materials. Its booths will be made from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, and table tops will be made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes.

“Shake Shack has gained a significant following for its classic American food and fun dining culture,” said Anne Mastin, Steiner + Associates’ executive VP of retail real estate. “It’s a great complement to Easton’s extensive dining mix and best in class retail and entertainment uses. Easton restaurants alone account for more than $100 million in annual revenue.”

Easton Town Center is co-developed by Steiner + Associates, The Georgetown Company and L Brands.
