Sembler breaks ground on Florida shopping center

7/5/2015

St. Petersburg, Fla. - The Sembler Co. recently broke ground on the 65,000-sq-ft Shoppes at Trinity Lakes, a Publix-anchored shopping center located in Trinity, Florida. In addition to the 45,600-sq-ft Publix and 1,400-sq-ft Publix Liquor Store, Sembler has signed leases with nearly 11,000 sq. ft. of retailers new to the Trinity market.

These retailers include Orange Theory Fitness, Moe’s Southwest Grill, China Wok, Nail Dior Lounge, Hair Cuttery, and Majik Touch Cleaners. The Shoppes at Trinity Lakes also includes three outparcels, two of which are under contract with end users. There is a remaining 1.48-acre outparcel and 3,600-sq.-ft. of retail space.

“We designed The Shoppes at Trinity Lakes as a commercial node to serve the incredible population growth in that area,” said Josh Beyer, senior VP of development for Sembler. “More than 1,000 new residential units have gone under construction in the last year alone, with at least 3,000 more still slated to come. It’s exciting.”

The Shoppes at Trinity Lakes is the first of three ground-up shopping center developments Sembler will break ground on in the next few months – two in Florida, one in Alabama.
