Sedano's to expand in Central Fla.
Hialeah, Fla. Hispanic grocer Sedano's plans to enter the Central Florida market next month, according to the Orlando Sentinal. The company, which is purchasing three Albertsons stores, plans to take possession of those stores in January and hopes to keep them open as it converts them.
Depending on how things go with the first three, Sedano's may open more stores in Central Florida, the report said.
Sedano's joins Bravo, another Hispanic supermarket chain that has several locations in Central Florida. Publix, meanwhile, has a Sabor specialty market in Kissimmee, Fla.
