Sara Spicklemire joins CBRE as senior VP

Chicago -- CBRE announced that Sara Spicklemire has joined the firm as a SVP of its agency leasing team.



As an owner representative, Spicklemire’s work has been diverse. Her experience spans every asset class, from marquee properties such as 10 and 120 South Riverside Plaza, 515 N. State St., 181 W. Madison St., loft properties in River North and River West such as 225 W. Ohio St. and 910 W. Van Buren St., and unique redevelopments such as the repositioning of 300 E. Randolph St., following its’ bold 23-story, 900,000-sq.-ft. vertical expansion.

A veteran in Chicago’s real estate industry, Spicklemire spent the last four years with MB Real Estate, most recently as senior VP and managing director of leasing services, the youngest professional in the firm to hold such title and the first female. She also served as the youngest member of the firm’s Executive Committee.



Recognized frequently by her peers, Spicklemire was named one of Real Estate Forum’s 50 Women of Influence in 2015. For the past five years, she has served on the steering committee for the Greater Chicago Food Depository Commercial Real Estate Awards and has worked with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Chicago for more than a decade.
