Saks Off 5th opens store in D.C. area

Saks Fifth Avenues’ value-luxury brand opened its fourth Virginia outlet this week in Springfield, just outside of Alexandria.



The new store occupies a 30,000-sq.-ft. space on two levels in the PREIT-owned Springfield Town Center, its first mall location in the Washington, D.C., area.



"The addition of Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th underscores our commitment to strengthening a key premier property, while also improving quality through the addition of in-demand retailers throughout our portfolio," said PREIT CEO Joseph F. Coradino.



Saks Off 5th serves up more than 800 luxury brands at discounts of up to 70%.
