Saks sets opening dates for Canada

Saks Fifth Avenue revealed additional details about its entry into the Canadian market.



The company will open its first-ever store up north, at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, on February 18, 2016, followed by a second location, at CF Sherway Gardens, on February 25. Both centers are in Toronto.



The 25,000-sq.-ft. Eaton Centre and 18,500-sq.-ft. Sherway Garden locations will showcase an array of designer brands amid a rich, sophisticated backdrop. And in a first for Saks, both stores will also feature a new food concept -- the Saks Food Hall by Pusateri's -- that will be made up of culinary stations, exclusive products, fine foods, services and a deluxe grocery assortment.



The department store retailer is also launching a shopping service initiative in Canada, Called Saks at Your Service, the service brings a curated assortment of merchandise directly to a customer’s client's home, office, or hotel, anytime and anywhere. Both stores will also feature numerous personal services, including a private shopping salon with an adjacent spa room.
