Saks continue to grow outlet format

New York City Saks Wednesday confirmed plans for its continued growth this year with four new Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th outlet locations, and the complete renovation of the existing OFF 5TH in Riverhead, N.Y.

The retailer plans to open an Off 5th store in late May in the Tanger Factory Outlets in Washington, Pa. Other locations are planned for Tigard, Ore.; Cypress, Texas; and Mebane, N.C.

The stores, all of which will open by year-end, will range between approximately 23,500 sq. ft. and 29,000 sq. ft.

Saks currently operates 53 Saks Fifth Avenue stores and 55 Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th stores.
