Rugged Wearhouse relocates to vacated Circuit City space
Morgantown, W. Va. Rugged Wearhouse said Wednesday it is relocating its Broad Street store in Richmond, Va., to a nearby vacated Circuit City store in order to expand its merchandise offerings.
The company said the relocation is part of its growth strategy to focus its efforts on building larger, more convenient prototype stores. The new location on West Broad Street is slated for a grand opening this fall.
"The Richmond relocation reflects our commitment to the community with larger, brighter, more convenient stores that can accommodate expanded merchandise offerings and better serve our customers," said Richard Pesce, senior VP store operations at Gabriel Brothers and Rugged Wearhouse.
Gabriel Brothers operates 102 stores through its Gabriel Brothers and Rugged Wearhouse chains in 11 states, employing 3,200 associates. Three distribution centers service the retail stores.
