R.J. Brunelli announces New Jersey leases
Old Bridge, N.J. R.J. Brunelli & Co. said Thursday that it has completed a series of leases that will bring major retailers, restaurants, financial services tenants and other uses to sites throughout New Jersey.
In the largest of the deals, the firm brokered a lease on behalf of Work Out World for approximately 30,000 sq. ft. in a Kmart-anchored center in Wall Township, Monmouth County. The fitness chain, which expects to open in fourth quarter 2010, will occupy the former Cost Cutters space at the 214,000-sq.-ft. property.
Nearby in Monmouth County, the firm brokered the sale of the site of a former diner for the proposed construction of Ocean Circle Plaza, a 15,670-sq.-ft. strip center.
In Ocean County, Ulta signed a deal for 10,800 sq. ft. in the Stafford Park Retail Center, in Manahawkin. Ulta, which will open in this year’s fourth quarter, will join Target, Costco, Best Buy, and Dick’s at the 650,000-sq.-ft. center.
Also in Ocean County, Jersey Mike’s will open a 1,650-sq. ft. shop at Baywick Plaza, in Bayville. The sandwich shop is expected to open this summer in a former Quizno’s space, joining a tenant lineup anchored by Super Foodtown and Oxygen Fitness.
In other restaurant deals, Red Robin will open a 6,500-sq.-ft. restaurant at Rockaway Townsquare, a super regional mall in Rockaway Township. The chain plans to open its first Morris County location during fourth quarter 2010, occupying a former video store space at one of the 1.2 million-sq.-ft. mall’s entrances.
In Warren, Muscle Maker Grill will open a 1,910-sq.-ft. location at Warren Village Center in third quarter 2010. In Bergen County, Chase Bank will open a 4,300-sq.-ft. branch at the 1 million-sq.-ft. Bergen Town Center in Paramus.
Advanced Auto signed a deal to lease a 6,300-sq.-ft. building in Woodbridge that was formerly home to a Rite Aid drug store. Elsewhere in Middlesex County, Payless Auto purchased a 5,000-sq.-ft. showroom and repair facility in Sayreville, and Play N Trade will open a 1,655-sq.-ft. space in a 344,000-sq.-ft. center anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Home Depot and Marshalls in East Hanover.
