Restaurants lease space in Chicago’s West Loop

9/23/2009

Chicago Locally based Structured Development LLC announced Wednesday it has signed leases with Prairie Fire, a new restaurant from the James Beard award-winning team behind Northbrook’s Prairie Grass Cafe, and New Line, a new bar and grill concept from restaurant owner Spare Time, at the landmark Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Powerhouse building in the city’s West Loop.

Both restaurants will be located on the first floor, in space previously occupied by Powerhouse Restaurant & Bar. Prairie Fire will lease 6,400 sq. ft. and New Line will take over the remaining 3,000 sq. ft.

Prairie Fire is slated to open in late 2009, and New Line is scheduled to open in early October.
