Red Mango to debut in Denver

Dallas Frozen yogurt retailer Red Mango said Tuesday it has awarded its first franchise agreement in Denver as part of an expansion plan to add more than 20 locations over the next three to five years.

Dayle Revious, an on-air personality with a local Denver television station, and her business partners Michele Melnick and Carrie Goff, signed a single-store agreement and will open the first Red Mango in the spring of 2010.

Additional growth in the market will come from future franchise agreements with other potential local owner/operators.

Red Mango was recently honored as one of Nation's Restaurant News' 2009 "Hot Concepts."

The company launched its national franchise program in 2009, with hopes of opening as many as 550 locations in five years. It currently operates 60 locations in 14 states.
