RadioShack expands in Fla.

Fort Worth, Texas RadioShack Co. has opened a new location at the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Fla., replacing a former Venus Swimwear store.

The 2,500-sq.-t.store is one of 21 company-operated stores in the Jacksonville area and one of 297 company-operated stores in Florida.

RadioShack operates about 4,680 stores in the United States and Mexico, more than 550 wireless phone kiosks in the United States and more than 1,300 dealer outlets worldwide.
