Planet Fitness commits to four new stores in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Mount Laurel, N.J. Metro Commercial Real Estate announced that it has negotiated four new leases for Planet Fitness.

In December, the national health and fitness center will open a 20,000-sq.-ft. center in Port Richmond (Philadelphia), Pa.

Three Planet Fitness centers will open in New Jersey -- in Vineland, Ewing and Flemington. A 19,000-sq.-ft. location, scheduled to open in February 2011, will be located at the Preit-Rubin-owned Cumberland Mall in Vineland. The second New Jersey Planet Fitness (17,000 sq. ft.), planned to open in spring 2011, will be located in Levin Properties-owned Capital Plaza Shopping Center in Ewing. And in Flemington, N.J., a lease was signed at Hunterdon Shopping Center for a 12,900-sq.-ft. Planet Fitness, which is scheduled to open in spring 2011.
