Phillips Edison hires VP, assistant general counsel

Cincinnati -- Phillips Edison & Company it has appointed Theresa (“Terry”) Shea as VP, assistant general counsel. In her new role, Shea will work closely with the general counsel to provide legal advice to the Company concerning all aspects of its business.

Shea brings with her more than thirty years of experience in real estate law. Prior to joining Phillips Edison, Shea served as general counsel for LMC Properties where she oversaw all global real estate legal matters, covering over 70 million sq. ft. of owned and leased/operated property, including office, retail and industrial. Shea is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the American Bar Foundation, and the Maryland Bar Foundation. She has also served as an adjunct professor and lecturer with Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law and at numerous other educational institutions and events.
