Phillips Edison acquires six grocery-anchored shopping centers

Cincinnati -- Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II, Inc. expanded its portfolio in California, Wisconsin and Florida, with the acquisition of six grocery-anchored shopping centers. They include:



Moreno Marketplace in Moreno Valley, California

Moreno Marketplace, a 77,763-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Moreno Valley, California, a suburb 52 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, is anchored by Stater Bros. Moreno Marketplace also features key national tenants Subway, Fantastic Sams, Wells Fargo Bank, and Jack in the Box.



Village Center in Racine, Wisconsin

Village Center, a 241,704-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Racine, Wisconsin, which is located approximately 30 miles south of Milwaukee and 60 miles north of Chicago, is anchored by Festival Foods. Village Center also features key national tenants Kohl’s, Ulta, Dress Barn, Panera Bread, Sally Beauty and Cost Cutters.



Alico Commons in Fort Myers, Florida

Alico Commons, a 97,592-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Fort Myers, Florida, is anchored by Publix. Alico Commons also features key national and regional tenants ATC Fitness, Metro PCS and Humana.



Rockledge Square in Rockledge, Florida

Rockledge Square, a 76,018-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Rockledge, Florida, located 20 miles north of Melbourne, is anchored by Publix. Rockledge Square also features key national tenants Firehouse Subs, Cricket Wireless, Great Clips and Advance America.



Windover Square in Melbourne, Florida

Windover Square, an 81,516-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Melbourne, Florida, is anchored by Publix. Windover Square also features key national and regional tenants Weight Watchers, Dollar Tree, Sally Beauty, Firehouse Subs, and Woody’s BBQ.



Port St. John Plaza in Port St. John, Florida

Port St. John Plaza, a 78,790-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Port St. John, Florida, located 35 miles north of Melbourne, is anchored by Winn Dixie. Port St. John Plaza also features key national tenants Papa John’s, Planet Fitness, Subway and Metro PCS.



As of Nov. 4, the company owned and managed a retail portfolio consisting of 47 grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling 5.7 million sq. ft. of gross leasable area.
