PetSmart, The Children’s Place to open at Richmond Centre

Lexington, Ky. Charlotte, N.C.-based Crosland LLC said five national and local tenants will open at the 120-acre retail destination Richmond Centre, in central Kentucky, about 20 miles from Lexington.

PetSmart, The Children’s Place, Sprint and Subway, as well as local shop Sweets & Treats are expected to open this fall.

PetSmart will open a 15,304-sq.-ft. store in November, and The Children’s Place opened in 4,020 sq. ft. in July.

Sprint will open a 1,490-sq.-ft. store in August and Subway will open a 1,199-sq.-ft. restaurant in October.

Ice cream shop Sweets & Treats (958 sq. ft.) is slated to open in late August.

Richmond Centre is anchored by Belk, J.C. Penney, Cinemark Theatre and Meijer, and is a joint venture between Crosland LLC and Carolina Holdings.
