Performance Bicycle to open at Sutton Square shopping center

Raleigh, N.C. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers announced it has leased retail space at Sutton Square shopping center to Performance Bicycle.

Specializing in cycling equipment, apparel and accessories, Performance Bicycle has leased 9,011 sq. ft. for the retailer’s first location in Raleigh and is slated to open for business in May.

Performance Bicycle has four North Carolina locations in Cary, Charlotte, Chapel Hill and Greensboro and 86 nationwide.

Regency Centers acquired the 101,846-sq.-ft. Sutton Square in 2007 and undertook a major redevelopment of the property, re-anchoring the shopping center with a 24,167-sq.-ft. The Fresh Market and remerchandising the tenant mix to add upscale retailers such as At Ease Clothing Boutique, Chockey’s Menswear and Silverland Jewelry.
